The Engineering Department serves as the technical backbone of Binga Rural District Council, overseeing all infrastructure development and maintenance operations.
Responsible for planning, constructing, and maintaining the district's road network to ensure safe and efficient transportation for residents and businesses.
Manages the development and maintenance of water supply systems and sanitation infrastructure to provide clean water and proper waste management.
Ensures all construction within the district complies with building codes, standards, and regulations to maintain safety and structural integrity.

Standard building plans are typically processed within 10-15 working days. Complex or commercial projects may take longer, up to 30 days for review and approval.
You can report road maintenance issues by submitting the Road Maintenance Request Form online, calling our office, or visiting in person. Emergency issues are prioritized for immediate attention.
Borehole drilling requires prior approval from the Engineering Department. You'll need to submit an application form, site plan, and environmental assessment. Our team will conduct a site inspection before approval.
