Meet the executive leaders of Binga Rural District Council
Joshua Muzamba has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Binga Rural District Council since 2012. With over 20 years of experience in public administration, he has spearheaded numerous development initiatives that have transformed the district.
Prior to his appointment as CEO, Mr. Muzamba served as the Director of Administration at Hwange Rural District Council and held various positions in the Ministry of Local Government. He holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Zimbabwe and a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
Joseph Mwembe was elected as the Council Chairperson in 2023 after serving as a ward councilor for 8 years. As a respected community leader and former teacher, he brings valuable insights on local needs and traditional governance structures to the council.
Mr. Mwembe is deeply committed to preserving the cultural heritage of the Tonga people while pursuing modern development goals. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Education and has completed several leadership programs focused on local governance.

Civil Engineer
A civil engineer with extensive experience in rural infrastructure development, Mr Nyoni leads all technical projects including roads, water systems, and public buildings.
Environment and Social Services
Mr. Siamuyi coordinates all public health initiatives in the district, overseeing rural clinics, disease prevention programs, and community health education.
Planning Officer
A former school principal, Michael works to improve educational standards across the district, focusing on school infrastructure, teacher development, and student outcomes.
