I have witnessed the tremendous growth and transformation of our council from humble beginnings to what it is today. The Siachilaba Irrigation Scheme, completed in 2023, has transformed agricultural production in an area previously dependent on rain-fed farming. The project now supports 120 farmers who have increased their annual income by an average of 65%. The scheme produces vegetables year-round, improving both food security and economic opportunities.
